AYS Academy

AYS Academy required a lightweight, high-performance learning management platform that could scale without the bloat of traditional LMS plugins. Instead of relying on heavy third-party solutions, I built a custom system using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Pro. This approach allowed for complete control over the data structure, resulting in faster page loads and a more intuitive admin experience for content managers. Custom post types were created for courses, lessons, and student progress tracking. The frontend was designed with performance in mind—minimal JavaScript, optimized images, and lazy loading for video content. The result is a platform that loads in under 2 seconds on average, even with rich media content. I also implemented custom REST API endpoints to allow future mobile app integration, ensuring the platform remains flexible as the academy grows.
